I begin any interaction by listening and paying attention to how my team best receives information--whether that be in an e-mail, via text, or verbally. Following that, I ensure that whatever messaging I am pushing to them is aligned across our management team so that we're speaking with a unified voice, that I clearly outline expectations, confirm understanding, and ensure that employees know who to reach back to should they have any additional questions or recommendations.
