I said that I have had issues before where a volunteer might not show up, and that I needed to have a back-plan or person already in place that I could call. I talked about how you had to try to have a good working relationship based on teamwork or someone would not want to help, especially in a volunteer situation. I talked about how it is important to reciprocate with stepping up for the other people on the team or they won't want to do it for you.
