By far the most drawn out interviewing experience I’ve been apart of (from November 19 to end of January 20).
Here were the steps:
-recruiter call (via referral)
-hiring manager call
-a follow up a few days later stating that the position was recently ‘filled’ however would want to consider me for other roles.
-speaks with two different directors for two different positions
-meets in person for one of those positions
-no offer
Weeks have passed at this point until a recruiter reaches out again about another opportunity. Speaks with hiring manager for said opportunity...and bam, no moving forward. What makes this experience worse is that I had to follow up for all the updates. Definitely a lack of open communication throughout the process and no sense of urgency; I’m completely turned off from this organization and even if I were hired, this foreshadowed a lack of organization and structure within EAB.
