No relation to the hiring manager or anyone else in this story. If someone doing your tech screen incredulously asks you "do you even know react native" the implication is that you interviewed for a react native job and didn't make it clear to anyone interviewing you that you don't even know the thing you're you're applying for. Maybe you should've been transparent about your ability level instead of trying to BS your way into a job and wasting a dozen people's time?
