On campus interview followed by in-office interview three weeks later, with an optional recruiting social after all the in-office interviews. The on-campus interview was with a partner--very conversational and a positive experience.
In-office was with two managers who seemed really uninterested in actually finding anything out about me and just expected me to ask them questions for 45 minutes--it felt confrontational each time they said "What else?" When I ran out of questions, they had a list of "fun" getting-to-know-you questions (some examples below) that made it clear to me that the hiring process here relied more on a couple of people's superficial impressions of me than any substantive qualifications or attributes that would actually have some bearing on my job performance.
The reception was mostly people from the tax side berating me for applying to the audit side. By the end of the evening it was pretty clear that I was getting the cold shoulder.
Although I was promised that they would be in touch soon, I had to call over a month later to confirm that I was not selected. Despite getting along with the first partner I spoke with, overall a really negative impression of this office.
