Most unprofessional and disorganized interview process.
I am totally appalled by the interview process: totally disorganized and unprofessional.
- I did a screening interview by recording answers via webcam
- 5 weeks later, I was invited to book a meeting for a live interview. (That’s very long). Now, here is where it’s really disorganized and unprofessional… After my interview, the hiring team told me that a decision would be made within 4 weeks. (This makes sense).
After waiting 5 weeks, and checking regularly on the job portal, the status is still under “interview/processing”. Since, I haven’t heard back, I contacted Enbridge Recruitment to get an update. They said that the hiring team will be contacting the candidate directly and to patiently wait. (I think the more professional answer would be to relay my message to the hiring team and to receive an update).
Today, I checked the job portal and the status finally changed to inactive (not selected).
- It took 9 weeks from my first interview to render a decision.
- There was no automated email informing me that I was not selected. I had to manually go on the portal to see the status.
For the largest pipeline company in Canada, I have to say that I’m disappointed with the interview process and technology used to recruit talents.
