I applied online. I interviewed at Envestnet (Raleigh, NC) in Jul 2017
Interview
I did not have a chance to interview. I scheduled an in-person interview approximately two weeks prior to the date of my interview (via an email) with the HR rep. She called me and left a message 15 minutes before (10:15 am) my interview time (10:30 am) and stated that my interview was cancelled; I had already driven an hour to get to the interview and I was already in the company's office getting on the elevator to go to the interview. I called her back and she stated that she sent me an email stating that my interview was cancelled. The only reason why she called was to see if I received her email that she sent. The email was sent 2 hours (8:30 am) before my interview time! This company is so unprofessional. She had at least a week to call me to let me know that my interview was cancelled. If you get a call from this company, don't waste your time. The unprofessional interview process was enough for me to know that the company does not deserve my as an employee.

Interview questions [1]
Question 1
One real scenario they asked was about handling conflicting stakeholder requirements in a live project. I explained how I used BA fundamentals like requirement prioritization, stakeholder analysis, and facilitation techniques to align goals and deliver a clear, actionable solution.
There were three rounds. First one was Technical round then the presentation round and then the HR round. The duration of the whole process was almost three weeks. HR was supportive through out the process.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Asked mainly about the market and also valuated my knowledge in business analysis and concepts
Overconfident almost arrogant recruiter bragging that Envestnet is the greatest place on earth. It was very off putting but I pushed on to give the benefit of doubt.
I was wrong, it was a foreshadow of the experience to come
Initial phone screen was cordial and easy going. Seemed like I was wrong to doubt what this could be.
In person interview as basically an ambush; interview by panel.
No warning, no warm up, just six people in a room staring at you.
While they spoke one at a time, it doesn't matter since six people are waiting for your response. "here's a marker there's the white board now.... go"
The beginning of the interview was pretty basic until they started asking unformatted questions.
Their questions only made me ask more questions to explain what their goals are. All answers were open ended making it even more frustrating. Nothing would narrow what they wanted me to do.
