I recently had an interview with Etsy for a CRM Developer position (contract), facilitated through an agency. The interview itself was a positive experience. The interviewer was professional, friendly, and provided a good overview of the role and company culture. I felt confident that my skills and experiences matched the job requirements, as detailed in my CV.
However, after the interview, I did not receive any direct feedback from Etsy. Unfortunately, I was left in the dark and felt ghosted by the company. The only information I received came from the agency, which mentioned that someone at Etsy thought I lacked sufficient experience for the role. This feedback was surprising, considering the extensive relevant experience outlined in my CV.
While the initial interaction was positive, the lack of follow-up and detailed feedback was disappointing. Constructive feedback would have been appreciated to help me understand any gaps in my qualifications or interview performance. I hope Etsy can improve their communication process for future candidates.
