I was asked to begin Obtaining Proposals for a Growth product line for our company. There were few established suppliers, and the Engineering team had many inexperienced new members, so we were all learning. My tasks included Researching and locating suppliers cable of meeting the technical compliance for component products, Valves, Instruments, as well as locating Suppliers capable of completing the Project Assembly and testing. Results included identifying 3 Assembly suppliers that could manage the project turn key, under budget, and delivered on time. There were many challenges for the evolving Engineering changes and Technical changes, but the suppliers were resilient and the projects were completed and delivered.
