Explain a specific case when you had a miscommunication with Engineering and how you resolved it.

Engineer developed something different from the spec I produced and didn't approach me until late in the sprint. We came to an agreement on a compromise just in time to get it to QA but it made for some tension. (Didn't seem like what the interviewer was looking for--was looking for an actual verbal miscommunication which I had trouble recalling).
