In 13 years, I've never been treated so unprofessionally. The recruiter pursued me for weeks, lining me up with interviews. Everything went well, I got along great with the team, and my feedback was 100% positive. No red flags (their words). Then they ghosted me for 3 weeks. I followed up several times, ONLY because they seemed so interested and in a hurry to fill the position, and was given the runaround each time. Finally, I received a form rejection email. I am not normally so confident, but I KNOW I was perfectly qualified for the role (which pays $10k below market value) and represented myself well, so to be ghosted for weeks and then given a canned response was incredibly unprofessional and tells me all I need to know about this company. I know the market is tough right now, but applicants, beware!
