I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Fidelity Investments in Apr 2012
Interview
Applied online to company website. Was called by an internal recruiter almost 3 months after applying. Was told that there were no open positions, but that they wanted to get in line to interview when positions opened up. I agreed to a callback phone interview a week later. Behavioral interview was professionally conducted by an internal recruiter. She even coached me on being concise in my answers. She went into greater detail on the position. It was a 2nd shift position, with hours from 12:30-8:30. Pay was very low and had nothing to do with financial services experience. At the end of the interview, the recruiter said she would move me into line for an in-person interview. I was told that positions would open up in 3-6 months!!!

Interview
Was quite a few interviews for a rather entry level job but the people seemed nice. Was hard to answer how I would study for something I had no materials for yet.
I interviewed at Fidelity Investments (Westlake, TX)
Interview
Phone call interview and then panel interview. It was pretty average in difficulty and the whole interview process spanned about two months. I did my interviews virtually since I don't live there.
Filled out an application and was sent an invitation to do video interview via email. The interview process seemed straightforward. The job description included having to pass an exam after a trial period.
