Both the HR and the team members who interviewed me are very nice! Though I didn’t get an offer and was sad about the result, it was a good experience. Still a big fan of Fortinet since I really like their outlook!
Applied for a data science job with a fairly typical job description (Python, SQL, Knowledge of statistics). Received an email asking me to complete a 24hr programming task, which turned out to be 100% website development and zero data science. After asking the recruiter if I had been sent the correct test (seemed like an assignment better suited to a web developer) she told me "all employees need to know web development".
Seriously, if you want people with web development skills, write that in the job description instead of wasting everyones time, that is probably why the job is still being reposted 4+ months later...
