Interview
I applied online. Proceeded to a phone screen and then an interview with the hiring manager. I feel the hiring manager was inappropriate. She asked me about my work history and asked why there was a gap. I mentioned I was laid off but it wasn't due to performance. But that didn't suffice, and she kept asking more and more questions about it. My responses didn't seem to satisfy her. Within the first 5 minutes of this call, I knew I didn't want this job because I cannot imagine being managed by her. Prior to this, I never really felt bad about being laid off, and never during an interview. This was also during a time when massive layoffs were occurring, so you would think she would have been a bit more sensitive about the topic. After this experience, I have a negative view of this company.
