This was the most difficult interview process I have ever gone through, but because it is so difficult you feel like you truly earned the position. BE AWARE - only less than 1% of those who interview for the MDP get the position, so don't be discouraged. If you don't get the position, it wasn't meant to be. So first, I applied online and did the assessment. I originally did not apply for the MDP, but because I have a degree and leadership experience, they considered me for the job. I went to the GEICO building two times. The first time I did an online typing test and an assessment that looks at how you navigate the system. I thought it was easy, however I was the only person in my group to pass it. Afterwards I had a 45 min interview. Then, you do an simulation where you're in a room with a stack of papers and you have to answer the phone. I'd say the key to this is to not get overwhelmed. At this point I was told I was being considered for the MDP. I took another online assessment. That was the end of the first day. The next time I went to the building I had another 45 min interview. After the interview I shadowed an employee for about an hour. Take this time to asks questions! Once the hour was up, I had another interview. It was a very basic interview. After the interview I was told I got the job. I accepted.
