The actual interview process can take approximately 2 weeks.
For the management developement program, I first had a one hour phone interview regarding management type questions. They tell you on the phone that you are moving to next step in the process if you did well.
Next, I came in to the actual Geico Building and I was there all day. I got there at 8:00 am and left at approximately 4:30 pm. I had to take a leadership personality test, a call center test, and a typing test all on the computer.
After that, I was taken into a room with a bunch of fake people written on files and was given a packet for a fake company. I was given 25 minutes to study the fake company which was claims related. As soon as the phone rings in the room, the scenario starts. I had to talk to a nice customer, a customer that doesnt speak english very well, and an angry customer. As long as you remain confident and have a good tone you will be fine. They are also assessing on how quick you can think on your feet to handle a situation.
You know you have the job pretty much when they ask you to sit with an actual call center representative for like 30 minutes, to see if its something you would like.
The last part of the interview process was meeting with Director of claims. The director will ask you leadership questions and gauge your personality. He is the final person that decides if he wants you in the leadership program. That same day, he asked me if this is something I would be interested in and I was offered the position the same day. :)
Last process is the background check and the hair follicle drug test and then you are in.
