To be honest, the 1st round with HR Manager went well and I was told to do an aptitude test which had a deadline as well as a presentation test (with a deadline). My team interview was scheduled a week later.
On the day of my team interview I was told that the position has been filled.
If the team was conducting final interviews already with a batch of candidates. Why was the rest of the pool asked to do a lengthy assessment and assessment?
This is not a good practice.
Being a tech company, I was expecting the TA team to provide a good interview experience.
Participation in the interview process was a complete time waste.

Question 1
Interview process? - TA interview > aptitude test > presentation > team interview > final interview > offer.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Geotab (Las Vegas, NV) in Feb 2020
Interview
Applied online and completed a Skype interview with one of the Lead Recruiters. She was fantastic. Invited to an onsite interview with the team. I wouldn’t say they grilled me, but asked a lot of scenario and behavioral questions. I could tell I was probably one of the first candidates they interviewed because they didn’t have a set list of questions intended to be used for all candidates. Heard from another recruiter who interviewed with them in the past that they are quite picky which is a good thing. The team was pleasant and the culture seemed great!
Overall positive interview experience, however they never brought up salary which was weird and didnt follow up with their final decision in the time frame they said. And again, no baseline questions. Funny enough I also interviewed at the company where they choose the candidate they ended up hiring.
