I was called in for the interview after applying online. The first interview was 1-on-1 with the store manager where we just had a conversation about gear, and it was pretty light. The 2nd interview, I was grilled a little harder by some employees on gear.

Extremely basic interview questions peppered with musical gear trivia.
Well thought out interview pretty easy, I thought it went well but didn't get offered a position. I still feel like they are a good company although I heard they changed there commission structure in the past few years.
Simple and to the point. They want to know if you fit into the company culture. They also want to know what your skill set is as far as musical ability. It is very easygoing and relaxed

Felt like I was being interrogated or discriminated against, as if this were an important career. Dude, you hire high school students. Give me a break. Avoid applying to guitar center.
