I applied online. I interviewed at HSBC (Cardiff, Wales) in Mar 2018
Interview
First online tests which were easy. Then a telephone interview which lasts for about 15 minutes. They go through your details and application then ask you 2 questions. They do dig for more details, but it is honestly like talking to a robot. Their end is so scripted from the moment they say hello to the moment they say bye. So my advise would be prepare your questions in detail and if you have to, read them exactly how you prepared them. Just tell yourself your speaking to a brick wall because that’s what if feels like. I’ve had more difficult conversations on the phone with my Nan about my Sunday dinner
