Very detailed and guided recruitment process. I would say to be heavily prepared on two fronts: 1- Technical and hard skills 2- Cultural fit and soft skills I did not receive an offer as I believe my cultural fit score may have been low. All in all, it’s not too hard if you have the technical know-how in your chosen field. Culture fit is equally important.

Typical is something along the lines of why you chose HSBC and/or this specific position.
3x 30 minute interviews with competency, finance technical and case study followed by qna. Assessment centre had 4 of us total though interviews were 1 to 1. Tiring but a good experience
Virtual interview. 3x 30 minute interiews for VAC. Variety of interviewers at each stage. Commercial awareness is present in the interview, so make so sure you understand and know current events.
2 assessments. First assessment comprises of situational mcq questions and quantitative questions. Second assessment comprises of video interview questions where they give you a situation and ask how you would handle the situation
