      Director, Product Management Interview

      Mar 6, 2020
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      San Francisco, CA
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Handshake (San Francisco, CA) in Sep 2019

      Interview

After a few screening calls, I came in and met with several people. This included a "Jam session" with design and product that I prepared for and walked through my thoughts on how to attack a specific problem. Despite a very positive experience, I did not get an offer and got little explanation for why. I left the experience wondering how serious they were about making a hire and whether instead they were more interested in interviewing people from competitors to get some insight.
