I went through a multi-round hiring process for a Frontend role, which included L1, L2, and a client panel interview. I was verbally informed of my selection by the HR on the next day and I completed the Digiverifier background verification process as instructed.
After many follow-ups they did not replied and not receiving my phone call as well, However, a few days later my portal status changed to “Not Retained” without any written communication or feedback from HR or the consultancy. Despite follow-ups, I did not receive clarity on the reason for closure.
While the technical interview experience was good, the lack of transparent candidate communication post-selection created uncertainty and stress. I hope Hexaware and their hiring partners improve feedback and closure communication for future candidates.
