The interviewer was about 20 minutes late. I already didn't have a good feeling about working here because I am always punctual and I expect someone in his position to be punctual too. When he finally arrived, he didn't apologize. He just introduced himself and asked me to follow him. His suit was sloppy. The staff was friendly, easy to talk to and presentable. Our conversations were very delightful. However, the interviewer was uptight. I'm not intimidated easily, but his beady-eye stare was making me feel uncomfortable. I wanted to get out of there fast. I tried to break the ice and it somewhat helped, but not enough to ease the tension. I have no experience in working at a hotel, but I am well experienced in customer service. I messed up on the questions because his hard stare was very distracting, but I didn't care. With him in charge, I wouldn't want to work there. I've had supervisors who weren't nice at all and didn't know what being tactful and understanding meant, but this guy just took it to another level. I'm glad I didn't get an offer.
