      How are JCL and the COBOL program related?

      The fact that they still use COBOL frightens me. The interview would of been done for me at that point. I would of offered the interviewer a can of ensure and wheeled him/her back to there office.

      COBOL is written for the Mainframe, tested with NetExpress for PC, Uploaded though FTP. JCL is submitted it is related to the environment variables in the COBOL program.... pretty much all the steps to run a COBOL program successfully on the Mainframe.
