How would you handle a difficult customer?

I would treat a difficult customer as if they were a easier customer. I would ask them questions about what they are looking for shopping wise and if I can't get an answer that helps me get a full idea I will show them some items to get more of an idea. Once they disagree or agree with the items I will throw out more specific questions. If i can get good answers we'll go from there.I will just help the customer until the needs are met.
