Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Based on OOPs Concept, Hashmap, Linkedlist, Basic C++.
I applied through college or university. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at ION Group (Vellore) in Jul 2025
Interview
interviewed at ION and found the overall process to be well-structured and professional. The first step was an online assessment that focused on problem-solving, coding, and aptitude-based questions, which were of moderate to high difficulty. After clearing the test, I was invited for technical interviews where the focus was on data structures, algorithms, and core programming concepts, along with a few scenario-based problem-solving questions. The interviewers were friendly and gave enough time to think before answering. Finally, there was an HR round that mainly focused on my background, motivation for joining ION, and career aspirations. The process was smooth and transparent, and I appreciated the balance between technical depth and cultural fit.

Question 1
One of the questions I was asked was “Explain a challenging problem you solved recently and how you approached it.”
The process began with an introduction, followed by a simple puzzle. Next, I was given a problem on Depth-First Search (DFS) to solve in a synchronized code editor and run on an online compiler. Finally, I was asked questions on Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), including demonstrating polymorphism with an example
