I applied in-person. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at In-N-Out Burger (Fresno, CA) in Oct 2015
Interview
I applied around August 2015 with 3 other In-N-Outs. This In-N-Out I am reviewing was the last of my choice as I got interviews at the previous 2 In-N-Outs close to my home. Unfortunately, after a month and a half of trying to get a position at In N Out, both places passed me on. The 3rd In N Out was the farthest from where I lived, so I decided to follow up on my application and gave a resume. The manager told me they're about to do hiring in about 2 weeks, so I made sure I followed up the following week. I went in again a week later and the same manager I talked to said he was looking at applications. He wrote down my name and number and said he will give me a call. Another week has passed and no call, so I went in around opening time to talk to the manager and to my surprise, the co-worker told me he was on his break, but told me to come back in a few hours for a group interview. I was excited to come back and did my best to look presentable. At the interview, it was just 3 people plus me, and the guy doing the interview was the same a manage, so I know I had a decent shot of looking good and answering questions well. The interview went very well for me as the manager I have been talking to gave me a 2nd interview right after the first one was done and I was told to come back 4 days later.
When the 2nd interview came, I was interviewed by lady named Angela. She asked me how my first interview was and told her that it went very well and the reason I am here for the 2nd interview. I believed I did the 2nd interview well, though the answer I gave for how I dealt with a stressful customer was weak, I thought I still did great.
The interview process was pretty easy, they wanna make sure you smile and that you can treat customers well. They also look for if you are well groomed and ultimately, if you are someone who can articulate yourself well.

They asked me how could I make a great impact there.
It was pretty good, though they made me wait a bit long. I got in and they asked me about myself and past experiences. They asked about my availability and why would Iw want to work at this company.
