A recruiter reached out to me via LinkedIn. She was really nice and bubbly. Since she was out of my state she scheduled me to interview with two employees at the branch nearest to me.
I know of people who worked at IG and knew of their "work hard, play hard" attitude and how they expect you to bend over backward for them and the first year pretty much sucks.
When I got the interview documents to review I was kind of shocked at the example interview questions...it shows that they want a really specific type of person- charming pretty girls and "bro-esque" guys. They also go on to mention how you won't make commission for at least 10ish months until you are "promoted."
Interview was subpar, I could tell they didn't really care to be talking to me and they obviously didn't prepare because they knew nothing about me. One of the girls was 25 minutes late and left 10 minutes early. The other girl bragged about how she hadn't taken a vacation in 4 years of working there. And just responded "Ok cool" to all of my answers.
Needless to say I wasn't sad when I didn't move on in the interviews.
