Phone Screen by recruiter, then nothing for a month and suddenly I was called for a Virtual interview the next day. The interview was a casual conversation and it seemed that the hiring manager was going through the motions. Followed up with a Thank you email and asked what the next step was. Heard nothing for 6 weeks and then got a email from the recruiter saying the job was filled internally. Very poor communication and frustrating that I wasted my time.
