I interviewed at Intelex Technologies (Toronto, ON)
Interview
The interview process was a genuinely positive experience. There were two interviewers present, both of whom were incredibly friendly and welcoming. From the very beginning, they made the conversation feel comfortable and engaging, which helped ease any initial nerves.
What stood out the most was how clearly they communicated what they were looking for in a candidate. They provided valuable insight into the role and how it aligns with my background and experience, which gave me a clearer picture of how I might contribute to the team.
The interview was more conversational than formal, which I really appreciated. It felt more like a two-way dialogue than a typical interview. There were no technical tests, which allowed for a more relaxed atmosphere and focused discussion about the role and expectations.
Overall, it was a great experience, and it left me feeling even more enthusiastic about the opportunity.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
One of the questions they asked was about a scenario where I had used my problem-solving skills—this gave me a chance to reflect on my past experience and share a real-world example of how I approach challenges.
Interview was straight forward. There was a good combination to interpersonal questions and technical questions to ensure correct competencies are present. Answers should be concise and thoughtful to demonstrate that you can articulate properly, which a logical train of thought.
The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Intelex Technologies in Feb 2023
Interview
The process was clear, but not the salary. After finishing and passing through all the phases they came up with a roughly 50% lower salary than the initial proposal they made when they approached me. They claimed strategy changes in regards to the position, which do not justify the waste of time they did with candidates.
