Lengthy process, went through 6-7 rounds. Final round was a super day. Everyone I met during the process was nice. However, I felt quite dejected towards the end as I wasn’t informed of the nature of the super day, neither was I told about the hiring situation towards the end. It required more than a few follow-ups after having dedicated 12+ hours to their process (not even including travel time to and from the site). Ideally the hiring manager should be calling as a courtesy for the final round and telling you since it takes a minute or two so it was quite odd to be ghosted like this. Also thought the last few interviews were redundant as they asked the same stuff as the ones at the beginning. Think they need to re-think the whole hiring process and make it more about actually generating investment ideas as opposed to a set of back to back interviews which don’t get you anywhere (only so many times I can answer why Invesco in a single day, for instance).
