The mates are usually offbeat nice people. Some extremely friendly, some not so much. Here's what you need to remember: they don't really get training to be qualified recruiters ... and what that means is that they may try to look stiff and professional (bc they feel inadequate) or just be cool and relaxed ... either way just relax, be smart, show you are interested, and know why you are there and what you have to offer -- or what you are going to say anyhow. Be fun, and also show that you understand it is hard work and you are game!
