I submitted my application online and was contacted for a phone interview just days later. The phone interview was a breeze. They asked primarily about previous jobs and how my previous experience relates to Chase. I was scheduled for a 1:1 interview a few days later. I met with the Branch and District Manager at the local branch. I felt that the interview went fantastic. I already have my insurance and securities licenses (6 and 63) and have a stellar resume and history working in the financial services industry. I felt that I had the job in the bag. However I was notified a week later that another "candidate" was given the position. I then saw the job listing re-opened a few days later. Screw Chase! I applied to another bank and was interviewed within two days. Chase couldn't see an overqualified candidate as an asset, and will now probably hire a high school drop out over a registered agent with a masters in finance so they can brainwash him/her from the beginning. It looked to be a great career but management is overly incompetent!
