I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Jimmy John's
Interview
I had a phone interview first where the manager explained what I would need to do for the in person interview. The management wanted me to be able to rewrite out the entire menu word for word from memory. Not the random details but the names, ingredients, and prices of every sandwich they sold. I have a very good memory, so I did fine and got it just about perfect, but this might have proved very challenging to some. Other than this, they just asked a few general questions to get my background and then wanted to know more about my availability. Overall it was a relatively simple process, though it took a bit of work.
easy and nice to me. Simple questions about school life and what you goals and aspirations are. Some behavioral questions about overcoming obstacles and such. Open about schedule and salary as well and hours.
I interviewed at Jimmy John's (Upper Arlington, OH)
Interview
Quick and to the point, asks about food business experience, why this job, how did you hear about them, and how soon are you able to start, and pay schedule
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Jimmy John's (Chicago, IL) in Jun 2017
Interview
Easy one on one interview with owner. Asked some basic background questions and asked when I could start working. Not much else to the interview. I wore a polo with khakis
