I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at John Lewis & Partners (Aberdeen, Scotland) in Aug 2016
Interview
Applied online. Short quiz to be completed and passed before being selected for the interview process. On the interview day, I was in a group of about ten who were then put in smaller groups of about 5-7. Half of us were taken away for an individual interview while the other half completed a group assignment being observed by two or three members of staff. It was a nice laid back interview process. The next part is the worst. I was told to expect the outcome within 2 weeks of the interview. Every time I called i was met with a different excuse, either their systems were down or my application was still being considered. It took 3 months and a strongly worded email to find out I was unsuccessful. Appalling experience in the end and was very disappointed with the way I was treated. (i also spoke to other applicants from the same interview day as myself and they were contacted within days!)
