The phone interview was a cordial enjoyable chat, and did not feel like an interview at all. But it was an interview alright - I was evaluated as not having had the experience or background for as senior a position as I had positioned myself for. The in person interviews were cordial too, mostly consisted of people asking me to tell them 'more about myself.' I felt as though they were mostly assessing me on my personality and collegiality. Quite a few interviewers chatted about seemingly unrelated topics from my background. Other questions I was asked were standard - why this company? what was my best asset? what scares me?
