I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Klaviyo in Jul 2024
Interview
Genuinely the most bizarre phone screen I have ever been a part of. I got an email saying they were excited I applied and wanted to do a phone interview.
He then called to speak to me about the Director role I applied for and told me "transparently" with my resume, I wasn't qualified for the role... Then why schedule the call!? It was incredibly uncomfortable.
When I asked to find out what role I was even interviewing for then, he told me they don't actually have one right now that I'd fit into but may in the future. He ended the call by telling me that I should keep an eye on the careers page to see if there's anything I felt qualified to apply to (which I had already done......) This was certainly a waste of time to find out something he could've told me in an email.
I advise that the Klaviyo recruitment team actually review a resume before getting a candidate's hopes up and scheduling a call, or at least be up front with them in the scheduling process about which role you're considering them for.

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Klaviyo
Interview
The initial stage was high touch when I was recruited off LinkedIn and then I was ghosted and sent a canned decline email weeks after not hearing anything. I was told I would hear next steps within a couple of days after my first phone call and never heard back.
