The interview process started positively. I had three interviews in total: one with HR, one with the Inbound BDR Manager, and one with the Outbound BDR Manager. Each conversation felt engaging and constructive, and I received encouraging feedback throughout, particularly in the final interview where I was told my profile was a great fit and that next steps would be shared soon.
After that final conversation, I didn’t hear back for over a month. Eventually, I received a generic rejection email for a completely different position I hadn’t applied to, with no reference to the original role or the time invested in the process.
