I had only one interview and it was a half-hour one-on-one interview on campus in September and mostly behavioral. Questions were difficult but the interviewer helped step me through them. I know other interns had multiple interviews. I had accepted my offer before Thanksgiving.

Interview
sent in resume late February, got an email early march, had a phone interview the next week. 2 weeks later had an onsite interview, got an offer about 4 days after that.
phone interview was with 2 engineers/scientists, went over research experience
onsite interview was with same people in addition to another employee, went over resume more and had a few questions but not many behavioral ones
casual and laidback atmosphere
advice-know your stuff & resume, and prepare for an interview as you typically would, remain calm and confident.
