After a 45-minute phone screen with HR, I had a 45-minute phone screen with the hiring manager. I then attended an in-person interview that lasted nearly seven hours and included six back-to-back 1:1 interviews with eight people total. There was no break between sessions, so the next interviewer was often waiting at the door before the previous one ended, leaving no time to reset or gather my thoughts. Because of this format, I found myself repeating answers and even asking whether I had already shared certain stories, which made the process feel inefficient and exhausting. They did bring me in lunch, which was appreciated.
