Was very straightforward, it involved several questions about my previous work experience and we looked over some of my writing samples that I had printed out. Everyone was very welcoming and made me feel at ease.
The process was multiple steps: HR, potential people leader, teammate(s) with a writing test, and then a final meeting with senior leadership. Overall, the questions themselves weren't difficult, but it was a 4 solid interviews + a test.
Easy phone conversation about my experience with HR, then a zoom with hiring manager. The hiring manager didn't have many questions about my experience, even though I was clearly point for point qualified for the job - it seemed she wanted me to ask more than she was. When I tried to find out about the culture of the team and company, she wouldn't really speak on it.
I applied online. I interviewed at Macy's in Jun 2022
Interview
The interviewer was not prepared at all. She was 15 minutes late to the Zoom call, asked me to send her my resume after the call, and did not come across as professional in any way.
