Applied online on a Friday and was asked to pick a date to interview through email. Had the interview on Wednesday and it lasted about 15 minutes. She read off a paper the whole time and didn't look up to look at me at all. None of the questions were about makeup but the first two and the rest were about scenarios. When we were done she said I would know in 24 hrs if I got the job or not. 2 days later I received an email saying I didn't get the job.

I worked at Macy's in the late 2010s. The cosmetics manager asked me several questions. A few questions were difficult, like asking about what I would do if I saw a coworker stealing, but most were straightforward. She was also very respectful and supportive since I was unsure how to answer a few of the questions. They know that you need time to learn. Overall, it was a great experience for a beginner applicant.
