I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Mayo Clinic (Rochester, MN) in Dec 2014
Interview

My supervisor, lab manager, and an image analyst interviewed me and asked about my previous research experience and future plan.

Interview
Took about 3 days. Met with a bunch of people I never saw again. Met with them individually and as a group. Way too long and became awkward with one on one as there's nothing to talk about with someone you just met and has no relationship to your work to talk for an hour.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Mayo Clinic (Rochester, MN) in Jun 2014
Interview
Met with the entire research team one on one as well as a group.
Process was basically as follows....
First Day: Dinner
Second Day: Interviews with individual team members, give a presentation, meet more folks from the research team.
Day Three: Met more team members
Overall the process was very cordial
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Science related conversations. No real "interview" questions.
One common variation on question was "how do you think you will fit in with your skills and how will you benefit the team"
