McMaster-Carr Software Engineer interview questions

Phone interview with recruiter - she seemed disheveled and uninterested. Still made it to the final round. I liked the people I interviewed with but I didn’t think the questions were really good measures of my ability and knowledge. The last question was about how to improve their website after receiving some word about an issue that came up with pens being returned. I asked a bunch of clarifying questions but received such unhelpful info and didn’t get any data to work with. The interviewer wasn’t great at navigating me towards a direction and looked so bored.

I was matched for the position on ripplematch. First part of the process is a Phone interview and then I was invited to an on-campus interview. There were no technical exams. I was interviews by around 4 workers. It was a pretty odd interview process.
