The interview process is fairly straight forward. The initial interview is done with the area Regional Manager as well as the base senior leadership. Once this interview has taken place, a decision is made as to whether the candidate moves on to the next process. What then follows is a in person interview at the Metro Aviation facility. Upon arrival, you are greeted by a very welcoming and professional staff. A fairly straight forward written examination is administered, followed by a "flight" evaluation in a Level D simulator. The flight eval is NOT a "check-ride". It is just an opportunity to show the SIM instructor that you are in fact a RW pilot and can accomplish an ILS approach. After the flight evaluation, you then are provided an opportunity to meet and conduct an interview with the "pilot" staff (CP, DO etc.). If all goes well, you are given a tour of the facility and then a sit-down with the HR Director to discuss benefits and compensation. Overall, the process as I mentioned is straight forward. Staff make you feel very welcomed and appreciate the fact that you have selected Metro as your next employer.
