I applied online. I interviewed at Michaels in Sep 2013
Interview
Applied online in July, got called in for interview in September. Interviewed with store manager, she was kind, direct. First question, the dreaded "so, Tell me about yourself".. She then asked me questions of why I wanted to work at that store. Why I would be a good fit. What kind of craft/hobbies and I knowledgeable in. I was offered me the job.
Easy and quick, pretty laid back process. It's an initial phone call to screen/schedule an in person interview and then the in person interview lasted about 15 minutes. Pretty conversational and standard questions.
Fast. Very friendly. Questionnaire!!!! But process goes quick. Manager is friendly and interview went fine. Super friendly conversation. Seasonal is easier to enter. After season is over it is easy to stay as a permanent employee.
