I applied online. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital (New York, NY) in Jan 2016
Interview
The interview process is very long for new grads. I applied to the meet and greet of Jan 2016 in November of 2015. Everyone found out whether or not they were accepted to the meet and greet in late December. At the meet and greet you interview with three nurse managers or two managers and a recruiter. Then there is another chop, and you find out whether or not you will be selected in the future. If you will be selected in the future, there is an individual waiting period for another interview. My next interview was scheduled for late February. I interviewed with the manager then I spent about 30 mins just hanging out with the clinical team on the unit. If the manager does not like you initially in the interview process she or he will most-likely not let you meet the other staff on the unit. The nurses and techs on the unit will ask you questions to get to know you, your behaviors, your temperance, and how you will fit in on the team. I fit in very well with the unit, I was so relaxed. The entire interview felt like a simple discussion as opposed to an actual interview. I heard back three days later.
It is very easy to become discouraged in the long tedious process of applying to NYP. It's a great hospital so I think it will be worth the wait, but there is no guarantee that you will be offered a position. I declined two new grad offers at other hospitals in the process of waiting. There was a point where I beat myself up about turning down those offers because I thought I probably would not end up with a position at NYP but it happened.

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital
Interview
I did one interview with HR followed by PCD through zoom. The interview did not last more than 30 minutes to an hour altogether. Overall, the interview process was laidback.
I had a phone interview first with the talent acquisition recruiter. Once I passed that, I had a virtual zoom interview with the Manager. All questions typically common for registered nurse questions.
