I submitted my initial application on January 6, 2019 and then received an email the next day to take a test that consisted of 5 situational coaching questions and then required me to submit a video application. It wasn't until 3 weeks later that I received an invitation for a virtual interview followed by a mock coaching session. The interview lasts about 10 minutes and is an opportunity for you to ask any questions you have about Noom. (I think I was only personally asked one question.) Afterwards, you complete a mock coaching session via Google docs that lasts about 1 hour. You are provided background on the user, as well as coaching tips prior. In order to be successful, remember that coaching is CLIENT-CENTERED. Focus on the users goals, their why's, their motivators, their barriers, etc. Be empathetic in tone, listen, and focus on small changes that are chosen by the user. The next day I received another invitation for a virtual interview, this time conducted by the coach manager. During this interview you receive feedback from your mock coaching session and are asked typical interview questions. The interview lasts about 30 minutes. A few days later I received a generic final email stating they went with another candidate. Overall, the initial process was slow and then very fast after my first interview and both interviewers were very friendly.
