McKesson Interview Question

Nothing really...not much technical question. Most are with manual testing background. Manual testing is not a highly technical skill....

Applied online as QA Analyst..process took about 5 weeks. Three consecutive phone interview then a face to face in location interview with 6 people and lasted 3 hours. For a Big company, they use a very old methodology...waterfall! Really? Interviewed by QA Director, team members(3) and two managers. Managers differ in opinion...younger one prefers automation testing and older one prefers manual(she looked very pissed before even talking to me...is it my look?)...no one seemed to be very up-to-date with testing process and usefulness of automation. For one single product EnterpriseRX, I was told they have about 20 members in QA Team in Moon,PA along with a offshore team and they need more!!!! Talk about employee productivity.... Sure, if you don't know anything but manual testing and follow waterfall method where all testing requirements are waited out till the end of cycle, right before the production. But overall the interviewers seemed very nice but reasonable impossible to impress and don't seem to know much out of the box. They only believe what they know. Anyways, good experience and an eye-opener for company I long admired and now with no regrets...got an better offer and more money than them. QA jobs are a dime a dozen now days and all decently paid!!!
