The Director of Talent Acquisition stated: "Our assessments are conducted through a company called Criteria, who have done numerous validations ensuring no adverse impact associated with either the personality or aptitude assessment."
I don't believe this claim can be true. First, it was obvious to me that some of the questions in the personality assessment were asking about personality traits that most employers would consider to be undesirable.
Second, if the employer is using this assessment as part of a screening or selection process, it *inherently* has the potential to impact a candidate adversely by removing them from the process (whether or not the assessment was accurate), no matter what the employer or vendor says.
